If you’ve been introduced to me through my music you may know me as HEIST or if you know me through my sarcastic rantings you could say that person is SOVLTRON. Truthfully my name is Will and my close friends call me Chill.

My love affair with music started in my childhood days. I wanted to be a music producer honestly because I thought they made the most money BUT I realized upon getting my first keyboard at 10-11 years old that I had a real passion for creating music.

Over the years I’ve been through some pretty serious ups and downs, from federal prison to homelessness and all that in between. Even while in prison I found myself in the music room learning some sort of rudimentary music theory. Music has been a way of remaining sane in this crazy world but also has become an important aspect of connecting with something greater.

My intentions with this publication are to spread inspiration and demystify some of the science that is behind music production. I say music production because it encompasses everything from financing your career to how to use a compressor, all the way to marketing your music.

Spending the better part of the past decade (or more) working in fitness, I realized that I was servicing clients who were living their dream while I was simply doing something I was good/great at. So, I’d like to blend the two worlds, and hopefully, on my journey of self-expression which is my dream, passion, and career path, I can help someone else break down some barriers that may be in the way of their dreams.
